Introduction to Ardica

Ardica Technologies, Inc. is a San Francisco based Stanford spin-off dedicated to creating better personal power solutions for consumers through innovation, integration, and development of fuel cell technologies. Since it’s foundation in 2004, Ardica’s approach to the challenge and opportunity of micro fuel cells has been to focus on end users and develop scalable, platform fuel cell technologies, such as compact portable on-demand hydrogen generators, planar fuel cells, and fuel cell system design and integration, which enable a whole new class of innovative products.

Today, Ardica is focused on applying its unique technology to a host of innovative, high visibility products that capitalize on fuel cells’ inherent benefits while partnering with industry-leading companies to help launch these products.

• Military 20W Li-145 and Li-80 battery charger
  Hybrid fuel cell – battery system in Li-145 form factor operating with Li-145 or Li-80 battery. On demand H2 generation from cartridge with solid fuel. Orientation independent with some de-rating when upside down.
• On Demand H2 Fuel Cartridges
  Fuel cartridges for the 20W Li-145 and Li-80 battery charger. Custom fuel cartridges for different form factors and energy capacities.
• Hybrid fuel cell - battery system master controller
  Custom form factor master controllers for hybrid system power modules and fuel cartridges. Engineered solutions to provide required hybrid system performance and H2 generation.
